This guarantee is designed to protect genuine customers with valid bond return issues — not to enable compensation claims outside our scope. Our guarantees are firm, clear, and backed by professional procedures.
At Miracle Maid, we understand the importance of securing your rental bond. That’s why we proudly offer our Bond Back Guarantee — to give you peace of mind and help ensure your property passes final inspection with confidence.
How Our Bond Back Guarantee Works
When you book an End of Lease Cleaning service with Miracle Maid, your clean is protected by our 72-hour Bond Back Guarantee. Here’s how it works:
1. Confirm Your Cleaning Requirements
Before booking your service, you must confirm any cleaning obligations outlined in your lease agreement or requested by your real estate agent. Ensure these match our End of Lease Cleaning Checklist (available on our website). If additional tasks are required, notify us at the time of booking so we can confirm scope and pricing.
2. Post-Cleaning Inspection
After your clean is completed, you have 72 hours (3 days) to arrange an inspection with your real estate agent or property manager.
3. Reporting Any Issues
If your agent identifies any issues during their inspection, you must notify Miracle Maid within 72 hours of service completion. Please provide:
- A formal inspection report from your agent outlining the cleaning issues.
- Photographic evidence of each area requiring attention.
We will assess these issues to determine if they fall within the scope of your original booking and checklist.
4. Free Re-Clean (Once Only)
If the reported issues are valid and within scope, Miracle Maid will schedule one complimentary re-clean of those areas. This must occur within 5 business days and is subject to availability.
Important Conditions and Exclusions
While our Bond Back Guarantee is designed to support a successful inspection, it does not apply in the following circumstances:
- Tasks not booked or outside the scope of our published End of Lease Cleaning Checklist.
- Permanent damage or wear, such as rust, smoke/nicotine staining, mould, hard water marks, ingrained grease, faded paint, or permanent odours.
- Areas deemed uncleanable due to porous materials, deterioration, or requiring specialised treatment (e.g., acid wash, sanding).
- Items on our Excluded Services list, such as walls, ceilings, garage floors, or external windows (unless booked separately).
- Post-clean contamination by agents, tradespeople, or new occupants. The guarantee applies only if the property remains unaltered after our service.
Late Notification Policy
If cleaning issues are reported after the 72-hour window, the following applies:
- A $90 non-refundable late notice fee will apply.
- Additional cleaning will be quoted separately as a new service.
Late reporting is problematic because:
- Dust naturally settles after 3+ days.
- Agents or trades may enter and alter the condition of the space.
- It’s difficult to verify the state of the property post-clean with certainty.
To avoid delays, we strongly recommend you:
- Book your agent’s inspection within 48–72 hours.
- Report any concerns immediately with evidence.
Your Responsibilities
To qualify for the Bond Back Guarantee, you must:
- Confirm your agent’s requirements before booking.
- Book the correct service and select any relevant extras.
- Ensure the property is 100% vacant, free of rubbish or personal items.
- Arrange agent inspection within 72 hours post-clean.
- Report any issues within the timeframe with photos and documentation.
Refund & Misuse Disclaimer
- This guarantee offers re-cleaning only, not financial refunds or credits.
- If you refuse the re-clean or hire a third party before giving us a chance to rectify, the guarantee is void.
- False claims, review threats, or misuse of the guarantee may result in legal action, including under defamation or commercial loss statutes.
