Miracle Maid Cancellation Policy

At Miracle Maid, we strive to deliver exceptional service while ensuring our dedicated cleaning teams maintain consistent schedules. We understand unexpected circumstances may arise, but in order to maintain operational excellence, we have established the following cancellation policies.

Standard Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled cleaning time. Providing timely notice enables us to manage our schedules effectively and accommodate other clients.
  • Less than 24-hour Notice: Cancellations or reschedules with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a $60 cancellation fee to partially cover lost opportunities and team scheduling costs.

Same-Day or On-the-Spot Cancellation

  • If a cleaning team arrives at your property and is unable to gain entry or complete the service due to circumstances beyond their control, the full-service fee will be charged. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Property inaccessible (client no-show or key access issues)
    • Non-payment or declined credit card holds
    • Lack of essential utilities (water, electricity, lighting)
    • Safety hazards or hostile conditions (e.g., unsecured pets, verbal abuse, or unsafe premises)

Payment and Card Hold Policy

  • A hold is placed on your provided credit card 48 hours prior to your scheduled service.
  • If we are unable to successfully place a hold, we will promptly notify you. If you fail to update payment details 24 hours before your service, Miracle Maid reserves the right to cancel the booking and apply the $60 cancellation fee.

Repeated Cancellation and No-Show Policy

  • Customers demonstrating repeated cancellations, rescheduling, or no-shows (three or more occurrences within a 90-day period) will incur a full-service fee for subsequent occurrences.

Exceptional Circumstances

  • Miracle Maid understands that life emergencies and exceptional circumstances occur. If a genuine, unavoidable emergency arises (e.g., sudden illness, family emergency), please contact our office immediately. Fees may be waived or adjusted at our sole discretion, subject to the provision of reasonable evidence (e.g., doctor’s note, emergency documentation).

Communication and Notifications

  • All cancellations or changes must be communicated directly to Miracle Maid via phone or email during regular business hours.
  • Notifications sent via text message, social media, or after-hours voicemails are not guaranteed acceptance until officially confirmed by Miracle Maid during business hours.

Cancellation Fee Processing

  • Cancellation fees are automatically charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking.
  • Outstanding cancellation fees must be paid before scheduling future services.

Your Acceptance

  • By booking a service with Miracle Maid, you acknowledge, understand, and agree to abide by this Cancellation Policy.
