Due to WH&S, liability risks and complexity, the services below are not offered by Miracle Maid:
- Chandeliers
- Light Bulbs
- Fireplaces
- Paint removal
- Ceiling cleaning
- Concrete stains
- Cleaning of curtains
- Rubbish bin cleaning
- Garage wall cleaning
- Odour removal or remediations
- Human/ animal waste removal
- Garage floor/wall oil stain removal
- Stained grout & silicon remediations
- Removal of furniture or appliances
- Removal of stickers or removable hooks
- Child safety latches/ locks removal
- Biohazards (excessive mould, faeces, blood)
- Removal of pet hair embedded in carpet fibres
- Removal of certain mineral deposits (e.g. stains in toilet bowls)
- High-reach areas (areas not reachable with a small two-step ladder).
- Any cleaning that would result in damage

End of Lease Cleaning Service Exclusions
Mould
We do not address mould removal as part of our standard package. Mould issues often require specialised expertise and treatment. To ensure a thorough and efficient end of lease cleaning service, it’s recommended to address mould concerns separately, allowing for a dedicated approach to this issue.
Odour removal
Elimination or treatment of odours that have permeated surfaces or require specialised equipment or chemicals. This service goes beyond standard cleaning and may necessitate professional deodorising treatments.
Tile & Natural Rock Stains
We do our best to remove stains. However, due to the composition of the tiles or benchtops (some being extremely porous), it is not possible to remove stains without specialist intervention.
Tile & Grout
Although our team of cleaners will manually scrub tiled areas as part of our bond clean, we do not specialise in tile & grout cleaning service. Please consult with a professional tile and grout cleaner if this service is required.
Hazardous Areas
Any areas considered dangerous or difficult for our cleaning team to operate, such as broken power points/ switches, hazardous waste, or bio waste, are not included in the cleaning service.
Garage Walls
Garage walls cleaning is not included as part of our standard end of lease cleaning service. However, if you need this service, we can provide a custom quote upon arrival on the day of the service and if the walls are cleanable.
Additional Items
Any items not explicitly listed in our service checklist —such as fridges, furniture, or other personal belongings—will not be cleaned as part of our standard service. Cleaning of such items requires a prior written agreement between both parties.
Cigarette, Nicotine & Smoke Damage:
Our rectification guarantee does not cover the cleaning of nicotine residue or stains resulting from smoke or smoking activities. It is widely recognised that such stains often persist even after thorough cleaning efforts. While we will make our best attempt to reduce these marks during our initial service, complete removal cannot be guaranteed and is not included in our follow-up rectification process.
Damp Spots
Moisture-related issues can occur throughout the property, frequently affecting the ‘dry wall’ plaster. While we’ll make every effort to clean mould and stains from damp areas, we do not guarantee the complete elimination of these marks. Due to ongoing moisture problems, these spots may reappear rapidly after cleaning.
Discolouration
Over time, grout, toilets, and plastics may naturally discolour. Restoring them to their original colour without specialist intervention is highly unlikely.
Ceilings Cleaning
Ceiling cleaning is not included as part of our standard cleaning. We may provide a custom quote, however, after viewing the ceiling on the day of the service to confirm if the ceilings are cleanable.
Removal Services
We do not remove paint, stickers, removable hooks, child safety latches/locks, human/animal waste, pet hair embedded in carpet fibers, or certain mineral deposits (e.g., toilet bowl stains).
Height
Our cleaners do not clean at heights and do not use ladders. Cleaning tasks that require ladder access, such as windows on upper floors of multi-story buildings, are not performed.
Specialist Services
Our standard cleaning service does not include tasks that need special equipment, specific chemicals, or expertise with specialised tools. This includes tasks such as pressure cleaning, painting, and plastering.
Furnished Property Exclusions
We do not clean or warrant items such as picture frames, vases, lamps, clocks, fruit bowls, linen, and other decorative home decor items.
Moving Furniture & Appliances
We do not move or shift heavy, large or bulky furniture or appliances to clean under or around. Heavy = over 10kg.
